Send goods by air charter. Faster, more reliable.
As an international supplier, you will know that there are times when your customers need to receive your products with some urgency.
Sea freight delivery times are too long, and land transport is also unable to meet tight deadlines if the distance is too great.
You only have the option of air transport, and by means of air charter, whether full or partial, you will be able to supply your customers on time.
By entrusting your air operations to Grupo Marítima Sureste you can take advantage of our agreements with the main airlines that transport goods, as well as our proximity to Murcia Regional Airport (less than 10 km) or Valencia Airport (less than 5 km).
Call us or request a quote to discover that the logistics of your next air shipment is simpler than you think.
Our charter network is perfect for the shipment of special cargo such as circuit boards and microchips, perishable goods such as fresh fish and live seafood, high-value goods such as jewellery or precious stones, high-risk cargo, aircraft fuselages, medical products or pharmaceuticals.
Our service is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, reaching every corner of the world.
This air charter service ensures that we are in control of the status and location of the goods at all times, and further reduces delivery times by further reducing the handling required on arrival at the destination airport.
Combined with other door-to-door services, the efficiency of the international logistics operation is guaranteed.

What is a charter flight?
Air charter is the complete or partial hiring of an aircraft for private use at a more economical price.
When contracting the service, you can choose between passenger or freight aircraft depending on the volume of the goods and the availability of the flights.
In the case of contracting a full charter in a freight aircraft, you can set the date and time of departure, as well as the option of not making stopovers. In this way, the limitations will be minimal when arriving at the destination.
Benefits of the charter service
Some of the benefits offered by the charter air transport service are:
- There is no limitation on the flight schedule.
- Assured cargo capacities.
- Minimal risk of delays.
- Trips can be made to areas where there are no regular commercial routes.
- As there are no stopovers, the time required to complete the journey is reduced.
- Maximum security through door-to-door tracking of the goods.
- Dangerous goods can be shipped.
At Grupo Marítima Sureste we provide our clients with tailor-made charter flights, adapting to the needs and products of each client so that the logistics operation is a success.
We also carry out express shipments and On Board Courier by plane.
Common types of goods on charter flights
The type of goods we usually transport in air charter modality are:
- General cargo such as textiles, promotional materials for trade fairs, specialised equipment or jewellery.
- Perishable foodstuffs such as fruit, vegetables, fish or seafood.

Aircraft Charter Agreement Model
This contract refers to the agreement between the exporter and the shipper for the chartering of an aircraft that does not fly regular air routes, but simply follows the route between the point of collection and the point of delivery. In addition, the entire cargo is usually owned by the same company.
In these circumstances, the exporter leases the entire aircraft so that it is at his disposal to transport the goods.
In this document, the company owning the aircraft, known as the charterer, and the company exporting the goods, known as the charterer in the contract, determine the obligations and responsibilities of both parties regarding the charterer’s use of the entire aircraft for a specific shipment.
It is a temporary contract for the charter of an entire aircraft for the duration of one or more air logistics operations.
The charterer is committed to provide the charterer with a specific model of aircraft, with the crew required for the flight, properly equipped and fuelled, located at the airport of departure. In addition, according to the contract, the charterer shall maintain the aircraft in optimum condition for the duration of the contract.
The charterer’s primary obligation will be to cover the costs set out in the charter contract, as well as other agreed expenses.
Air Way Bill Document
This document is responsible for certifying the goods or cargo that goes inside the aircraft during a transport. It must be attached to the international air transport contract or air charter contract.
The following information must appear on the Air Way Bill:
- Information on the three parties involved:
- Exporting company or shipper
- Consignee or end customer
- Carrier company
- Information on the goods transported:
- Nature, whether or not it is dangerous
- Volume
- Weight
- Origin
- Route of the route established by the voyage itinerary
- Flight number and aircraft model
- Agreed price of carriage or freight
The Air Way Bill is issued by the international air transport company. It is not a document of title to the goods and the terms written in this contract are not negotiable.
Each AWB has a unique 11-digit number that identifies this contract and is used to make bookings and check the status and position of the carriage.
